True. Even local artists sell for that much, which is even more of a mystery to me.

I can totally imagine Sokkiejoltreffers' numerous releases being attributed to them suffering from vicious piracy and the exorbitant cost due to the incredible costs involved in finding cats to string up to repeat the tunes in an spca-friendly way

Dude, people in the entertainment industry are not worried about putting bread on the table, they are worried about not being able to afford one more Lear Jet. Stuff that, I'll have that flash-in-the-pan pop hit for nothing and if you want it to I'll just bluetooth it to your phone.

And see what will happen in court when you state that copyright infringement equals theft. The judge will just start laughing at you and throw out your case.

Open office is good for writing letters and stuff but as soon as you get to more involved stuff it falls out the bus. One of my collueges (spelling?). Writes all the companies processes and he had a nightmare with open office. I remember he had problems with track changes and stuff like that.

I agree there should be an alternative to office but open office is not it.

I think this involves business owners and corporates. Individual home users shouldn't ever have to verify their version is legit, they have a CD with a hologram and box somewhere. BSA won't come knocking and if they do, which they won't - you can show them that CD and tell them to F-off after first shooting them for trespassing.
