Microsoft speeds up chat and channel switching in Teams

Microsoft has substantially improved its Teams desktop clients for Mac and Windows, Bleeping Computer reports.

The improvements include reduced latency in some critical scenarios when interacting with the application, with Microsoft's principal group program manager for Teams, Jeff Chen, saying it is now 30% faster when switching between chat and channel threads.

Whoop whoop! Are they also fixing the bugs? Like actual showing the correct status of someone?

Can we just get a unified "unread" feed like Slack already please. The activity bullshit needs to go.

What do you mean correct? People can have it display statuses other than what activity is detects.
except when you cannot change unavailable to available. I dont change my status, as I want my team to be able to contact me at all times. But sometimes, teams decides on it own that I am not available.

Would still like the drag a link from a chat and dropping it into a browser tab not cause the chat input to freeze and require a restart. Random if happens or not, need to disable hardware acceleration to not have it. Do it as test links in different browsers outside of default.
