Does anyone use one of these?

I bought one and my son is using it to play Toy Story 3 and Cars 2. I play Sniper Elite v2. Or try to.
My problem is that the LT and RT buttons doesn't work properly.

In Sniper Elite LT is for Aim and RT for Fire. When I press LT it also Fires the weapon so I'm not able to aim or use the scope. Pretty useless in a Sniper Game.

In Toy Story 3 we have the same problem. Can't aim. And can't even race because you don't have a throttle.

I've searced the web and found some interesting stuff but nothing seems to sort out the problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

PS

This is what it looks like.

Hi, I would recommend returning the product and let the supplier swap the product for you. (To pin point the problem would be difficult since the only way is to actually open the remote up, but that would void any warranty)

Cheers

Ok, going to take it in tomorrow morning for testing.

I have one of these.

If a game does not officially support the Xbox controller, the triggers act as axis and not buttons and therefor you cannot map it as button actions.

But there are ways around though, you'll need to get an application that maps the controls properly.

You can try: http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/ which has a whole bunch of game profiles

http://xpadder.com/ is another you might want to try

Do you guys also experience intermittent controller disconnects?

This is very nice but if I pay R500 for a decent controller I don't want to pay for apps to make it work. Are there any free apps to use with this profiles?

hey mine looks completely different, its a usb box thingy that you connect to the pc and then the standard xbox controllers work, works great when I remember to play pc games.

So I took the controller in this morning. Had it tested on one of their machines. Same problem. Took another one, also a wireless xbox controller, and everything is working perfectly.

It was a faulty controller.

Now I can enjoy my games.

Mines running hundreds, use it to control my media centre, I've used xpadder to bind certain keys and mouse buttons and the analogue stick to control the mouse which surprisingly works very well, also sometimes play games like NFS shift.

Using Windows 7 Professional 32bit SP 1

Can this controller work on both PC & Xbox? I plan on buying it from BT Games to play F1 2012 on my PC... Though I cant seem to find a black one, only the white one seems to be available...

Check link : http://www.btgames.co.za/bt/infopage.asp?A04575

Yes, it's the same actual controller, only difference is that for windows you get a usb receiver. So it will definitely work for both

If you want a black one, just try phoning the different btgames stores, you should find stock I think.
