Microsoft's SA software patent haul

LMAO! Only M$ would be so bold to claim tabbed browsing as their invention!
 
Eish. Software patents are not yet accepted in South African courts. So, although it's registered, it means nothing. This can only be seen as "One day when South Africa accepts software patents, we have them." Precautionary measures from MS.

As to CIPRO for registering them, they made a few bucks in the process. The lawyer handling the application would have told MS of the above.
