Microwave popcorn popper

Why not use any container that looks like that? How is this different?

It should ideally have a little thing in the middle which causes all the mieliepitte to keep sliding to the bottom when the action starts heating up.

Take a look in a crazy store. They tend to have all kinds of unexpected goodies at good prices.

I'm about to save you a whole lot of money. You can buy me something pretty with it.

Ok, here goes:
  • Take a glass bowl. You will have one of those.
  • Pour some popcorn kernels in that. If you want butter/coconut oil or something in there, add it. You can just throw the salt in too and save yourself having to do it later.
  • Put in the microwave and cover with a microwave lid (those with the holes in it; this is important) so those kernels don't fly everywhere when they pop.
  • Switch on the microwave.
  • Wait until there's about 3 seconds between pops, then you know it's done.
  • Remove bowl from microwave (careful, it'll be hot).
  • Enjoy.

errr, that's the way everyone does it  Are you being condescending towards the hopeless fellow or am I missing something?

Try Clicks. Bought from them more than once, although not recently. Should not cost you an arm and a leg either.

I thought everyone uses a pot when making popcorn the old fashioned way?

Otherwise I get myself ACTII Butter :)

That's what constructive advice looks like, as opposed to splitting hairs.

I usually use butter for making popcorn, and the one I used it was just a very nifty little thing, I want another one. They're cheap :
