My Galaxy S7 is starting to give problems, so I want to replace it
But with 5G around the corner, I don't want to spend a fortune.
Use my phone for calls, messaging, internet. Don't take many photos
Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Note 9s is pretty good. I've had mine for a few weeks now and it does everything and more.

Factory reset the s7 first?

I have the a20 which I think is the best value for money midrange phone.

Where can I get the RealMe 6 Pro?
I think there might be a discount coupon available for connecteddevices ...

Some Vivo phones are also available locally.

Huawei P10

Still using 1 and going strong 2.5 yrs on... EMUI 9.1.0.262

Or a P20 if you have a bit more cash.

Better processor and cameras (and an infinite amount of positive reviews). Keep in mind the 9s isn't the successor to the note 8 pro, the note 9 pro will be so these phones are existing in parallel with somewhat similar specs so doesn't make sense to go for the 9s just because it's newer.

Still happy with it. It came with a clear hard plastic case and a glass protector in the box included + a fast charger.
Seems to be standard with all phones globally. Got the same in mine as well as a factory applied screen protector.

These are my results today for 11 hours of use though:
Was on the road, mobile data 4G, 80-100% display brightness. Can't see how it will last 2 days or another 22 hours. As I am typing this it is on 36%. Will easy last a working day of hard use.

GF has the Samsung A51. Really nice device to use. Fantastic screen.

That's quite heavy usage. It easily lasts me 2 days and more since I only use it for WhatsApp and a few important calls. Your brightness is too high it seems - it's chowing the battery.
