Need to buy two new graphics cards for my pc's, I'm stuck choosing between two.
Gv-n750OC-2GL (R2299) and Gv-n75TOC-2GL (R2699)
{looking at the computermania.co.za site, due to them being quite close to me so I can just go and pick it up}
Is it worth the extra R400? Or should I get something else entirely?

Thanks

I'd rather get:

or:

Website is dodge, but their stores are nice :D

thanks chevron, checking it out.

Thats Gigabyte

So the difference is brand, that's it? Since both have a 3 year warranty, at least according to the salesperson I talked to. Sorry, haven't ever shopped for graphics cards as you can see, mostly I just buy a good processor/SSD and then buy Ram and whats left over I use for graphics.

EVGA is flagship, so if you want the better of the two get EVGA instead of Gigabyte.

Thanks to all, currently the pc i bought stands at: i5 4460, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD (May get SSD later), and thinking of the Radeon r9 285.

Okay, need to get 2 new graphics cards. Thinking of the R9 280x.

or would it be better to use:
http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-VAPO...id=1427050430&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=r9+280x
But I am not sure on shipping costs/taxes on it.

Note I need 2 cards, budget is ~R7-8k

It's fine.

I would avoid importing, should you have warranty issues it's gonna be a pain & costly shipping back & forth.

If you stretch your budget to just under R10k you can get 2x GTX970s :D

Followed the other thread, difference was power saving compared to the R9 series?
Not really required, running two 700W PSUs.
So the issue with importing would be warranty, which is also what I am worried about. Wootware is the best option atm, or does anyone know a better place to get the cards from?

If you are gonna get a powercolor card then you are gonna buy it from wootware.

The sapphire option from wootware is 4.7k, slightly out of my price range.
That is why I was thinking of getting it via Amazon.

Get a 3gb an upwards card. 2gb is now bare minimum for the latest games. There's the MSI R280 that's going between R3k-4k at Takealot and Evetech.
