yeah the doctor said he will grow out of it,still needs alot of growing..2.11 years old![]()

What can also happen is that, even after the grommets fall out, he'll be ok for a year or so, before the problems restart. Then there is also a possibility that, once he gets to 5 or 6 years old, the problems might completely disappear.
It's difficult to say what will happen, but continuous middle ear infection is not a good thing, especially if the eardrum ruptures often. Besides the fact that it's helluva painfull, it can cause permanent damage.
Of course, if you are unsure of your doctor, get a second opinion. It always helps to assure you that you are making the correct decision.

We lived in the Eastern Cape back then, which gave me Asthma as well, but since moving up the mountain to the Lowveld I haven't had any issues, Asthma is something but a vague memory
