Hay guys so who's a fan of the franchise?
Been busy playing the demo lately, and want to know which factions you prefer and how has the demo been thus far?
Really cant wait for it to be released. :D
Would like to know as well which strategies have u been using?
 
They've been doing the same thing since HOMM2. Innovation is dead. They even ripped off Diablo3's front page splash.
In all likelihood wont even bother giving this one a try.

HOMM 4 was the first pc game I ever bought and I played it to death. Am enjoying the demo so will pick up the game
 
Yip ived pre-ordered the Deluxe edition ,still when it was pushed back thrice lol.
Ived only started playing the franchise from heroes 5 bought the Gold edition, totally awesome :D
Which faction are enjoying at this moment hashbrown99? Thus far The Necromancers Rocking, still getting use to them Reputation skills they've brought in.
 
gonna hook up the demo and see what its like, if any good then I will "try before I buy"

and then I will buy :)
 
Firstly , it is only just a demo hay, so you would be receiving the odd bugs and that, but if you are a fan, then you wont worry to much about it and just enjoy, just certain things for now ,i don't like but i probably guess, they'll end up making it better when it gets released.

Preordered a long while ago and played the first beta release, I actually like the new sanctuary faction as you need to play them very strategically - in combat you need to keep tweaking your units' positions and either focus on one enemy or with some units attack different units for the best results.

Still miss the academy/wizard faction though..

yes! I forgot about this. been playing since homm2. love this series. will get demo soon :) how does this compare to homm5? I've been quite disappointed with 4 and 5 so hoping this is better.
to the others who who started late. get homm3, best one ever
 
I've been involved in the closed beta for 3 months now. It's pretty decent and I'm glad they toned down the heal effects of some necropolis and haven creatures. They were way too OP and you basically had to have multiple stacks of them to even survive most multiplayer battles. The RPG elements are great and I love the whole conflux idea, but I won't spoil that for you guys.
 
Cant wait really...lol!!! Just hope the developers has listened or read, on the official forums, about the issues or game play.
Do you as well think that inferno's gating is more better in late game than in early, because they say they are the worst or weakest but has the best champion unit out of all.
 
Oh yes if you can answer me...i see well by inferno when you increase you might power in paragon school, It showed TOLDO power what s that?
 
Well for my brief time playing this game, its flippen awesome.

Nice graphics, nice gameplay, also enjoy the RPG element. Glad they toned down resources from 8 to just 3.
I must say though, i've only played as necropolis and haven and the Ghosts in necropolis are just imba. Heal units + kill other units at the same time. Thanks for coming
 
I am digging the Sanctuary race :D.
I love the walking on water. I have screwed many people over by stealing their boats while they were plundering an island, leaving them stranded till another hero comes to save them :D.

They did mail me though, so how or where did you manage to get yours?

Steam...eish....ived played black ops since march because i couldn't play the multiplayer, just uninstalled afterwards, but anyway how are the connections in terms of saving online and that?
