most ANC provincial structures wanted him. as a result, it was no surprise they mandated most of their respective delegates to vote for him.

Yes Zuma is possibly the most acceptable candidate for the majority of the ANC, but for the foreigner investors and such like things, he is probably not a very good candidate and the ANC have to pay attention to those kind of things.

If Zuma told foreign investors that he is one of the few people who can maintain political stability between ANC and its alliance, surely they will listen to that as any political instability or violence would be the no1 threat to foreign investment.

That's quite a claim to make. mbeki is a walking disaster and SA will immediately be a better place when he is no longer president.

As an aside, telling everyone who is critical of zuma that they really are just racists is sure to alienate you from any thinking person, as it is simply a retarded statement to make.

By racism, I mean that aside from blacks who criticise Zuma and the ANC, there is clearly a racist element on this forum. I have been reading here for a while and only started posting recently. But I can assure you the racist element exists. I am not accusing everyone of being racist and I am not a fscked up liberal or anything.

What I have noticed is that there are a lot of people on this forum who use this place as a vent for their frustrations with world and often things take a racist slant. A thread will start with a topic like "Stupid Government this or that" and will be filled with posts of people saying things that are clearly racist remarks towards black leadership, then come the posts that follow saying "I am going to leave the country" or " I am applying for my Visa" or "Zim 2" and all that k@k.

Then you get people who lash out and seem angry towards black people with no reason or justification for their anger, other than short comings in their own lives. I believe this is the mykkk that is sometimes referred to.

Lets all stop being being in denial and acknowledge that this is happening. Lets keep it real.

I can't single out all the names, but one particular example of someone that gives off this kind mykkk vibe is marine1...
