Might Zuma stand aside?

Oh and btw nobody had any complaints when those NP clowns were in power, yet now that black people are in power lets attack the ANC. Lets not forget that the Apartheid regime created this legacy that we have now, so all the shortcomings should be blamed on the old NP govermment.

Lets be fair to the current goverment thats all.

I wouldnt go as far as saying they were clowns.
I, in no way approve of the Apartheid regime but the NP did brilliantly as far as service/infrastructure was concerned.

The shortcoming of the NP was Bantu education, which created a mass ignorant generation.

Just asking, where you ever around when things were actually done around here?

You mean on this forum, yes I was, I started reading here before some of the new sections in OT and NCA were added. Also I witnessed the locking and removing of many threads, and banning of manny trolls. The whole Hellothere character and how people think Pooky is him etc, I also picked up the appropriate term "mykkk" here btw. So I am not new around here... just been hands off... it would be safe to assume there are a lot of other people reading in these parts but not posting.

Coming back to the NP, I will agree they did a great job in terms of infrastructure and independent technology, but then wouldn't you also do that if you were cut off from the rest of the world and especially if you wanted to prove a point the rest of the world.

The problem is that the way South Africa is now is because of the way they shaped it, the ANC government has actually done a lot of things that are good for the country. We have seen an economic boom for example, unfortunately the global economy is catching up with us a bit now though. Yet every time the ANC announces a new proposed law that is good, people on this forum find some reason to attack it. It goes on and on, its getting stupid now the way these people lash out. The new south africa is still new, give it a chance already.

Anyways as they say never talk about politics and religion. I have had my fair share for a while now, signing out...

If the forum rules permitted I would call you a racist :D either that or I would say that you the kind kind of cynic thats exactly what this country doesnt need:D but thats only if the forum rules allowed personal attacks.

Don't get started on the whole postcount = status in the world k@k because that is just BS, a person with 20 post counts who isn't a troll can make just as valid a contribution as someone who has 20 000. Put another way "you are not your post count", besides I may have been reading here since before you joined although I probably havent, but coming back to the point at hand, I don't feel like wasting my time argueing with you because it will be pointless. How do I know that, well its simple because you can't argue with someone who believes they are correct.:(

Some people really need to read some of the their own posts to understand why outside people perceive them in certain ways, maybe it will cause them to look deeper within themselves and they might find they are in denial.

Conversation over
Wow so putting smiley faces makes it ok? I wonder which forumite you really are?? Using another name? Probably Fudzy

No I meant pre '94.

Do you really believe they did well because they wanted to prove a point? Where do you get this idea? SA was considered a first world nation, and it was sanctioned upon!

Apartheid created an inbalance in wealth, that is true which proably lead to crime increase, similar to cases such as Brazil.

The ANC did what they were supposed to. They did what ANY party would have done if they had gotten power in 94. Build houses?
An economic boom, would have resulted from World sanctions being lifted.

IMO AFAIK, the ANC never made laws that I deemed worthy, maybe there would have been that I do not know of.

The difference between New South Africa and the old South Africa is decaying infrastructure and government depatments/services.

Eskom, useless Foregin policys, AIDS policys and JZ.

Why have people lost faith?

I believe Zuma can just be the right person for the job. I think all these criticisms might be good for him to prove everyone wrong.
As for his corruption charges and all, do you honestly believe any politician is clean? Lets be real.

I don't condone corruption at all (and I mean it), but all politicians are corrupt one way or another. It's just that we don't know what other politicians have done

service/infrastructure in townships and rural areas (which held the majority of SA citizens) was by no means brilliant.

Obviously, it was Apartheid.

But still, considering the fact we had over a million illegal immagrants even when Apartheid was here:rolleyes:

To quote myself

As I said this thread just caused me to let loose on an issue thats real.

Also coming back to being new, as I have been saying I have been reading here for almost a year now, so I know whats going on. I declined to comment because I thought it was futile and I would be wasting too much typing and getting addicted to a forum as I have in the past, I have other things to do like work now instead of typing.
This forum is a source of market research for me which is why I started reading here in the first place. But it just seems that there are some issues boiling over here that need to addressed...

The ANC are black racists, they kinda bring hate on themselves

"Oh and btw nobody had any complaints when those NP clowns were in power"
Lies.

"so all the shortcomings should be blamed on the old NP govermment."
This statement is just pathetic. If you don't know why, then you have ALOT to learn about life in general.

But we can't assume all politicians are corrupt and then vote for a corrupt politician on that basis.
