So now Mad Mike says the defacing of Street Names by "Ultra Right Wingers"could cause someone to die,if an ambulance driver gets lost because he can't see the road names,
I presume changing West street to Dr Pixley Kaseme,and Shepstone road to Quashana Khuzwayo Road has really made it a lot easier,and better for Ambulance Drivers,Policemen,Postmen etc.--Yes Well Done Mike!!
PS;I hope there are no Hospitals in your beloved Andrew Zondi Street.

I am a Durban paramedic, and trust me, the new street names do NOT make my life any easier. These are changes we'll get used to in time, but it's a severe pain in my ass in the meantime, not to mention how the poor patient who now has to wait longer for the ambo to arrive on scene is going to be feeling about it.

And so many of the changes are entirely uneccessary, inflammatory even in the zondi example mentioned, and run counter to the wishes of a very significant portion of the population, so you really have to wonder what happened to the democracy we're obstensibly part of. And it's not like we can vote the ****er Sutcliffe out either, given he's a city employee, not a politician who has to run for re-election :/
