Yeah, but they are also giving it their promotion's worth. The pundits didn't like it, and it doesn't seem that the crowd liked it either.

Yeah not sure who the one commentator was but he was clearly against the fight and ended with this line. "What did we learn from this fight? Absolutely nothing"

Can't find exact figures online but AJ made +- $100m for a couple of rounds in a comeback fight with nothing to loose. Madness.

Did not watch the fight, expected result. Actually made me respect Paul a little more as unlike with Mike Tyson he was fighting a top tier active fighter and he actually stayed up into the 6th round against a very hard hitter. I would have predicted a much faster beating TBH.

Andrew Tate and Jake Paul defeated on the same night. I did not see that coming.

Stayed up being a relative term in this context?

Jake was outmatched from the get go, and spent most of the match either running away, or on his knees.

Also, his fitness looked shocking. I don’t think he would have been physically capable of going the distance if he had to.

Just rewatched the fight. I don’t care what the pundits have to say, Jake had no business being in that ring. If he wasn’t the promoter behind his own fight, I don’t believe any legitimate promoter would have put this fight on. Jake is lucky he is walking away with only a broken jaw.

They also made a big fuss to insist no guardrails were in place, and this was simply a straight up fight, but I don’t buy that anymore.

By midway through round 3, Jake was done for. His hands were dropped so often and his head exposed. AJ could have KO him at any point. Fight should have been ended in round 4 already.

It is not about being in the ring or not, it was about the purse. The purse is all what matters to AJ and Jake, and that was the business. Neither could give a toss about anyone else's opinion.

Should have ended in Round 1 had Antony been keen and Jake tried to box. He seems to have one or two small power moves that he pulls every now and then and that depletes his battery quickly.
Why Joshua took his time.

“I’ve just seen in fights where I can see someone’s, let’s call it energy, frequency, leaving their body. That’s what my goal is: to do the same to you. You have that instinct. You can see it when you’re fighting. You can just see a small glimmer of someone that’s just about to start fading, and then you just keep exploiting that, keep exploiting that, keep exploiting that until some people give up. Some people get knocked out. We’ll figure out.

“I want to break him down spiritually and mentally.”
