I still need to setup OSPF or BGP on a test network, static routes are a pain

Jip, that is the problem with the RB433, but those daugter boards for the RB600 is even worse than routing on the RB433 itself.
Just see if you can get that RB600 exchanged.

Eish! running 30 clients on one sector? What speed would each client then look at, or is that set per client depending on demand?
What radio's would you say work best for sectors with many clients?

If you are going to provide paying customers with a service that works, you need to get good quality antennas, cable and connections.

Unfortunately the local distributors are constantly being pressured to provide the cheapest solutions possible, which is why we import all our sectors from the USA. They are expensive, but they work better than anything from the three local amigos.

You also need to look at decent cable like Heliax. LMR400 isn't going to cut it. This increased costs dramatically.

But...Then it all gets spoiled when a cowboy parks an R5H with a 1W amp and a 30dbi dish on the frequency you're using :(

We had good throughput with CM-9's. Then we moved to R52H - which is not a very nice card and is being replaced quick as we can. For most of this year we've used R5H's on our new sites, but we also have one F.50 Pro card on a high site. It's only got 3 x 4Mb clients connecting to it and it's still early days, but so far, so good.

Brought in some really nice professional antenna from Hyperlink Technologies

1W wow, thats the nature of the business - you also attract some roughnecks too coming from the other end of the radio spectrum.

Some WiSP get nasty and threaten legal action if you bad mouth them for bad service - but the customer is locked into a 2 year contract. Their must be a clause that says if you cannot deliver good service then the contract is canceled .

Read this sub-forum about some of the posts about bad service from WiSP
