What firmware are you running?

/system routerboard print

You should be running 2.20 on the RB600.

How old is the RB600?

How many bad blocks are there in /sysetm resource print ?

I had something similar recently with RB600A's and ended up having to get them swopped out until we got one without bad blocks - that now works just fine.

This is my thread on MikroTik's forums about the problem.

http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=37547

Sounds to me like your board is also problematic.

This is my other site with no problem...

One bad block on the RB600 shouldn't be a problem. MikroTik says we only need to be concerned when there are more than 100 bad blocks on a router.

But I don't believe in coincidence, so I'm still recommending you get your supplier in on this and have them exchange the board until you get one that works.

Who's the distributor?

In that case...it could be power related.

I use RB433AHs in my solar powered high sites, but the RB600 should work just fine on 12V. That's what I use on the bench when I configure them.

Have you had a look at the volt drop between the supply point and the RB?
We have had loads of problems with RB600's in the past :(
Using RB433's now. Using much less power and way less problems.

To the best of my knowledge the RB600 is the only MikroTik router that we can kit out with four big radios (R5H, XR05, F50Pro) and four smaller radios (R52H, R52, etc). I have two sites buzzing along on 24V each with an RB600 and 8 radios.

If MikroTik launched a daughterboard for the RB433 that would allow us to add more radios, I'm sure you and I would be fighting with each other at Scoop's or Miro's door to be the first in there to get one :D

Right now I've got a nightmare on my hands up on Helderberg. I've got four RB433AH's doing the same work that I'm doing with one RB600A in Paarden Eiland. The routing gets very complicated and the complications double each time I add another RB433 - like I have to do on Thursday.
