Mind shattering head ache

Sounds like a typical stress-related tension headache to me.

Chat to your doctor for a proper painkiller that is focused on this problem.

I've been prescribed Trepeline in my case, but there might be less extreme options available to you.

I would agree with this.

Try taking an anti infammatory (ibuprofen). Dont think Comperal has it in. It sounds like sinus and paracetamol doesnt help for that in my experience.

Ibuprofen is alright for short term use but can affect your kidneys long term. So not a good one to take on a regular basis.

Instead of listening to all these armchair doctors go see a real one or a specialist.

My one friend started getting killer headaches or migraines or whatever you call them which went on for quite a while. One day he passed out in the car while his gf was driving and she took him to hospital unconscious. Turns out he had a cerebral aneurysm which ruptured. He was on machines but died the following day, a few days before his 35th birthday.

Not saying this is what you have but go and seak professional help.

Thanks guys. I will definitely go see doc if things don't improve. I just want to enjoy my short holiday now without side effects of meds :) I'm on a ton of meds already, including trippeline (saw it mentioned earlier). So the fact that I get so overly angry with high blood pressure shows me that I need rest and relaxation now more than ever.

I won't take armchair advice ponder, but without this thread I wouldn't have gotten so far as to get my BP checked etc.
