My son plays Minecraft on Xbox One S and upon opening the game it takes 10 - 15min to load the game. Also, when he leaves servers it will start freezing or give a message about loading resources. The ping in game ranges between 160ms to 180ms. This only occurs with Minecraft.
He connects via a Scoop Cat 6 network cable. It does the same via 5ghz wifi.
Interestingly, this past weekend he could not connect to the Xbox servers at all and until I changed the Xboxs' dns to Cloudflare.
Can this be ISP related?
I have 100Mbps Fibre with Afrihost via Openserve. The same happened with Minecraft even when I had the 200 and 500Mbps connections.
