[Minecraft Server] Direwolf20

Spawn is very "watery" :) But I made a boat & sailed to an island. Tried making a "vanilla" style mob farm for ender pearls to get conduits but no luck so far, forcing me to go try some of the other mods when it comes to machinery. Enjoying it so far. Here is my base location -1090 1910
 
Type "/cofh tps" into chat to see if it's the server lagging
f3 to open debug and check your fps for client lag
enable opis on both server and client, type "/opis" into chat to open it, will show you connection lag/latency and a lot more
 
Hi guys, I played a about an hour this weekend and died like 3 times... But anyway the lag is not bad at all! The spawn as everyone has mentioned is bad but I manage to run 1000 blocks away from it lol. Thanks for the server. Will be playing here for now, when I have time.

anywhere on a large plot of land but not an island

my suggestion is you go into creative and fly around and find a large one

I've flown to a big piece of land already, close to a village. Will set it around there somewhere.
 
Played for an hour or so... enjoying it... seen some odd behaviour lag seems OK then suddenly it just DCs me and keeps doing it... not sure why yet still checking... mods are still new getting used to all the ores and things but seems cool.

Will play some more closer to the weekend.
 
You tell me :D. If you find a half built house, next to a village. thats me.
 
Whats the odd's of being able to have journey maps waypoint teleport enabled? or will that be too OP? For example tp'ing to each other house & spawn?

it is OP of note! i haven't found a way but i don't think there is a way just to enable the TP aspect of it without being OP

Cool no worries on that, I can fly in any case (killed a bat) just would be nice to know where everyone is, would make it more interactive. BTW what is spawns new location?

i want to chat to Gezza about giving me creative a bit so i can create a "portal" style room so people can have access to the end, nether and everyones base(if they want access to their base) all in one spot?

That could work, or we create a netherhub, "still new to how it works, will youtube it, mapped a few portals in vanilla before" then we can port to wherever trough the nether. I think a central hub would work lekker, We could even do something at spawn not that I am creative in building & such. I don't mind mining for the mats :)

i wanna use a mod called Mystcraft which allows teleportation to a specific area using a book.

There is another mod called RFTools which has teleportation which i haven't fiddled with yet but will figure it out

Ive seen the "Build Guild" use mystcraft especially Wyld & when Hermitcraft played FTB Infinity, that should work you can then make custom void worlds, that might be an option.

yea i have done that many times.... i actually prefer building my base in a void world because it helps with FPS
