Hi all,

im setting up a small MC server from home since most of the international ones have fairly high pings and i get a lot of lag. ive had a look around and i havnt found anythign to my fancy.

anyways on to the problem. i have set up a no-ip.org address since I dont have a static ip. the no-ip adress works fine as it pops up with the router login details.

ive done the port forwarding aswell and i have checked this. it shows 25565 as open and my server is hosted on said port. but for some reason im getting connection refused when trying to log on and minecraft says the server is offline. sever doesnt show any connections but when testing if the port is open (through canyouseeme.org ) the server shows a lost connection on their IP address.

my router is a dsl-2540u and i have a smoothwall firewall set up behind this (for some reason i cant disable the firewall on the router :/ so its running a dual firewal?)

any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hopefully ill have it up and running soon...
