Hi Everyone
I have one of these that keeps my internet going during load shedding

It recently stopped working - Well, it works when plugged into the wall but dies the moment the power goes out.
I'm guessing the batteries have gone.....

Where would I be able to get a replacement of this:

Thanks

What is this supposed to do..? This is a 3.2v battery.. it's not going to work as a replacement..

This UPS has a battery pack, made up of four cells, totalling 7.2v 5200mah..

The picture itself says 3.7v, which 2 batteries in series gives you 7.2v, I think?

One of these would probably be less of a hassle. Gizzu seems to be a well recommended mini ups on the forums. I have never used/own one so cannot personally confirm.

@Op I dont see these in stock, had various brand names, but I bought my first on Takealot in July 2019:Screenshot_20230601_192442_Gallery.jpg

My second from Geewiz under the brand Green Wall Power, but basically the same item, but one output of 9v instead of 12v:

Unfortunately not arranged flat

Can maybe ask them to make it up in your required form

I would check the voltage of the batteries first before ordering a replacement

ie if you get normal voltage after eskom goes away then the problem may be elsewhere

Do all/most of the Mini UPS's come with a split cable?

Sigh. I posted that link to show the person what one LiFeP04 cell costs. He'd need several in a pack. It's an indication of the cost he's looking at.

Also it need not be the battery which died but maybe the charging circuit or something else. Getting a whole new mini UPS gets you the whole package including the electronics which drives the battery.

I also have that Vizia. It died after a year. It would not power down though so likely something else is faulty and not the supposed "LG Chem" batteries.

Then just say that instead of posting just a link..

Really isn't very difficult to make a little bit of an effort....
