Mini wiper blades

So my Mini has these ridiculous clips on the wiper blades that require OEM replacements. I went to Tiger Wheel & Tyre and they said neither they or anyone else other than BMW/Mini would stock them.

If I have to get OEM blades, is there somewhere cheaper than Mini I can go to?

Otherwise, I hear you can just buy regular blades and transfer the rubber to the stupid clip on the old blades?

For the tiny rear ones, I can. I had it with my Polo, my wife's Spark as well.

What Polo? I never bought OEM for my 9n, for any of the wipers.

I don't knwo what Mini you have so just picked one at random and Goldwagen has some wiper blades listed...

Yup.
Get a set of bosch or other decent quality blades and just replace the rubber.

This is what I don't understand, there is no such thing as an OEM BMW wiper blade, BMW doesn't make wiper blades. Bosch, Fragram, etc. are OEM manufacturers of wiper blades just like Sachs or LUK make cluthes. You can buy a Bosch or Fragram wiper blade in a BMW branded box but it comes from Bosch or Fragram.

I can't remember having replaced the rear on mine, I didn't use it much for various reasons but I am sure my dad has on my moms and the car hasn't seen a VW dealership in probably 10 years.

I sold the car over 5 years ago. But yeah couldn't find the rear ones.
