There has been a constant battle between the filesharers and the authorities since the beginning of media. There will always be the next thing.

I remember in the 1990's when we used to get out 'warez' off of ftp servers that didn't restrict the 'incoming' folder.

Many thought that sharing had been dealt a big blow when Napster was taken down.

They will never stop it. All they can do is make it harder for the lay man to get into it.

Which actually encourages worse piracy as he will go get it from the dealer on the street corner.

With Rapidshare being so well known, I wonder how long it will take for the folks that took down TPB and Mininova to start looking at RS.

not to mention, megaupload and other similiar sites like rapidshare.

RapidShare have had their own share of court cases. Plus there is too much effort in finding stuff on RS, getting an account and getting it to download at a decent speed. NewsServers FTW!

I'm a premium member at rapidshare, and let me tell you what they say they offer is not what it's all cracked up to be. you get one click downloads, however the stuff are all chopped up into parts, no surprise there. it really is a major effort especially if you want to download a movie, which can consist of 7 or more parts.
