Waren Buffet, Bill Gate, Richard Branson, do they stay in City Lodges? Ok, sure it's their own money, But certain folk do have a certain image to uphold. Just don't over do it, if it's public money.

And now its your money they're spending. Just think you paid an entire year's worth of tax to allow this guy to stay for a few nights in a fancy hotel. Makes you think, hey?

The Minister will have to say, but apprently he said he was not aware of the costs, something I do not believe in myself. If someone said you are going to stay at Sheraton, it should spark in the mind that it's going to be damn expensive. Either way the criticism he is recieving from the people is good, it should keep him in check in future.

not having the right to vote is not being able to have a say in the kind of society you want to live in and therefore is oppression because you are living under someone else's rules which you have no choice but forced to accept,thats oppression.

The guy has made a lousy explanation that he didnt know about the high costs, this is good enough to indicate that he is feeling the pressure which should act as a deterrent to this kind of behaviour. If he does not, well lets see if his explanations will hold, I will not pretend to know the needs of ministers to execute their jobs.

China jails corrupt government official

A government official whose taste for expensive cigarettes and very large cars triggered an online furore in China has been sent to jail for corruption.

The sentencing of Zhou Jiugeng is testimony to the growing importance of the internet in China as a forum for open debate in a country where all other media are much more closely controlled and censored by propaganda mandarins.

Mr Zhou, a former director of the property management bureau of a district in the southern city of Nanjing, was convicted of accepting 1.07 million yuan (£100,000) and 110,000 Hong Kong dollars in bribes from contractors and other officials. He was sentenced to 11 years in jail.

The downfall of the official with a position in one of the most potentially lucrative sectors of government in China came late last year after he told local media that property developers should be punished for selling flats at below cost.

Black people can't be oppressed by whites. Only white people can be oppressed by blacks.

Never.
Oppression is not influenced by skin colour but by misdirected philosophies and socio-ecnomic factors. Since all humanbeings are elements of these aspects of society, it makes it possible for any humanbeing to be racists both blacks and whites.

Oh so you were just joking, thats the problem with non-face to face communication, it is robbed of facial expressions which help us understand our respondents better.
