Miracle at Eskom

Demand does not just magically disappear like this. Some industrial customers are probably being paid off to reduce demand in exchange for looking the other way on other questionable activities.
 
Let's all enjoy the next few days of respite before the "miracle" stops and we go back to our regularly scheduled "due to the blah blah blah...".
 
Perhaps it has improved a bit, we had periods of no loadshedding -just that the last 2 years have been the highest amounts. Perhaps a combo of lower demand, slightly better EAF, and some slight fiddling of a few other factors has allowed the reprieve.


The longer term trend is the same though - Eskom losing customers, proces up, debt spiral or government assistance/taxpayer funds/World Bank funding.

The ANC is corrupt, and we all know they lie.

Eskom didn't fix itself, it got told to switch off load shedding.
Graphs and EAF are lies, I don't believe any of it, and I think people are slowly waking up to that fact.

Quite a sobering graph that. Maybe the year has been warmer and dryer as well plus no way of measuring demand met by in house solar. If it is a reflection of industrial activity, SA is in trouble, well more than widely known already.

its all lies, even the graph is a lie, SA didnt perform miracles, unless you open your tap at home and Whiskey pours out of it.
or some cadre sells you a Audi for R10 while your walking down the street.

why do people believe this shiit? honestly, is it this easy to mislead people?

As households use approx. 20% of the power produced it looks as if something is very fishy with that graph.

Yup you'd need almost every household to have solar to bring down demand, that's why I complain about the claims that demand was brought down by solar... It's like perhaps it's the industries leaving?

That seems to be the only explanation unless as some allege that they are being paid to reduce consumption which is not likely. Anyway next month should show us whats actually happening.

People don't want to believe certain bad things, they'll force themselves to look the other way because the truth might be too terrifying to accept, we are in the center of a hardcore cold war, that's too much to even think about, that's outrageous, why here, we have malls and stuff!

So instead you push true lies, you say this is because OEMs, some miracle, people buy more solar, people are more sparing with power, it's because of elections, God bless the state, when in fact, in reality, it's all geopolitical strategic warfare. Behind the syndicates, there's a lot of intellect at work.

Any journalist knows not to dig too deep, they won't wake up tomorrow if they do, it's not called Cold WAR for nothing.

Sites like mybb, media here, the saboteurs, even the dim witted comrades in power are just tiny cogs in bigger machines.

You want to win this game? Make a better impression to the powers that be than the idiots currently in power.
