The windows version of XChat isn't free either. But there are alternatives to mIRC that are free and dare I say better

There's free alternatives, rather use a free alternative and avoid the hassles of trying to get a cracked/hacked version to run

Besides, you'll sleep easier at night, knowing you did not rob somebody of an income
