By that logic the Italian Lira was an incredibly weak currency. Where you put the decimal point is somewhat arbitrary for a currency. Total BTC market capitalisation is only about US$ 120 billion, making all the BTC in circulation not worth a lot when compared to the US economy. BTC value would have to grow several orders of magnitude to be even vaguely as valuable as the dollar.

LOL what? You're not making any sense.

Yes, the Lira was an incredibly weak currency. It started out as being equivalent to 4.5 grams of silver and ended up being worth fractions of a cent.

The decimal point in a currency is not arbitrary at all. If it was then the Indonesian Rupiah would be stronger than the ZAR.

Circulation of a currency has nothing to do with the strength of a currency. The Kuwaiti dinar is the strongest fiat currency in the world and is not even close to being as circulated as much as the USD.

1 BTC is 10,000 times stronger than 1 USD. You saying it's not even vaguely as valuable as the dollar is simply not true. Just because there are more than 120 billion dollars in circulation doesn't make it a stronger currency than the BTC.

...and this is what Ripple is targeting with XRP. It has a muuuuuch larger supply, is significantly more efficient and is infinitely more scalable than bitcoin. I believe XRP will become the first truly digital currency of exchange.

Ripple is centralized crap. It's basically a bank coin. You can't mine it, they own it and have complete control over it. Not even real crypto in my book.

Which is precisely why it is the only one that will be acceptable for wide-scale adoption by governments and central banks. Ripple is the only organization that is actively working with legislators, to have XRP recognized as a currency and to set the standards required to manage the crypto space. As such, I believe that XRP will eventually be the only one that is left standing.

Exactly why we need to get more and more people to dislike the videos and keep reporting, they can't delete that.
Do dislikes actually do anything though? I mean AFAIK they don't discourage youtube's algorithms from recommending them, they just care about numbers of clicks.

It might become the dominant digital fiat currency, but since it's not real crypto it will never be the only crypto left standing. I personally think XRP is trash but at least it might help us get one step closer to eventual global adoption of real crypto currency.

Except it is the ideal bridging coin which would lead to far wider adoption. Crypto enthusiasts should have embraced it instead of railing against it.

Edit: Apols I see the point has been made already.

telegram mti members........................ seems like a new world force has awakened :)

Always easiest to compare it to a commodity like gold which...is a finite resource. What happens when the last gram of gold is mined? The price will increase dramatically as demand will rapidly outstrip supply...but the gold will always be there and in circulation. Just as 21 million Btc will always be circulating. It will just increase dramatically in value due to the above-mentioned vectors of demand and supply. We're in the early adoption stages of this "commodity". Anybody who has currently has 0.2 Btc (and Hodl's it) will in 5 years be among the top 5% wealth bracket in the world. We're uniquely positioned with MTI because they're growing our Btc daily. Using the gold example—its like someone mining a gram of gold for you every day so within a month you'll have 20 grams of gold if you started with 1. Hope that helps

------------------------------------------------

Great to know that only 0.2Btc will take a person that far . We are at the right place at the right time

Funny, in five years' time with MTI's growth rate, they'd probably be in possession of the entirety of the world's bitcoins :P

They won't show you stuff they know you will dislike. That would be suicide for them.
Well, surely that will just prevent me from seeing the video if anything? Because I have had a fair few recommendations with lots of dislikes attached to them.

I seldom bother to click either like or dislike.

I'm guessing people who watch all the other MTI crap will still get a disliked MTI video on their feed but it won't show for anyone else?

Guys important one, don't only dislike the video report each and every one for being "scam or misleading", in the video window click or press upper right 3 dots.

Getting Cheri's account banned or any MTI shill will burn because it's very hard to convince the algorithm otherwise once there's enough reports from legit YouTube accounts (ie not bots).

Here is what i've noticed:

Disliking the videos seems to decrease the volume of that content creators videos which you see in the recommendations.

Clicking the three dots top right of the recommendation and choosing "Not Interested" seems to drastically lower the amount of that creators videos you will see in the recommendations.

Reporting the creators videos or reporting the creator on their profile seems to remove the creators content from your recommendations.

Whichever way it seems that if you "watch" relative content on Youtube then the algorithm can actually start to recommended the videos of the creator who you had previously tried to avoid. It seems that if the creator has a growing / positive following overall then there is no avoiding them... They will be back to haunt you eventually...

When their social media accounts get deleted: "don't worry guys, soon we will make enough money to buy YouTube and Facebook and we will unban ourselves"
