Sadly, it is problematic in my opinion.
It misses the point on the need for BTC growth (MTI do not promise Growth in price of BTC - they promise Growth in quantity of BTC). It leaves the door wide open for the cheerleaders to discredit the whole article.
Yeah i did note a few issues with it as well, but good overall

What has struck me as amazing is that every second MTI 'investor' happens to also be an amazing crypto & forex trader who can easily do 20%-30% a month so can accept that MTI can as well. ;)

Many "gifted at getting rich" people
We should try learn something.

The saddest part is most people have brought in family and close friends. They shut down any form of negativity or truth, they will refuse any advice you give them. Those are the one who will ultimately lose, as their ignorance gets the better of them.

I see the saying "due diligence" thrown around by these fools, like they know what they are talking about.

As of yesterday I saw their are 140 000 members.
Yesterdays daily trade income was 1.1023%
That fake bot must be working overtime.

Very few of these people could even define "due diligence" if asked.

It is yet another buzzword they have been fed.

I would like to thank everyone on this platform... Because of this platform, i withdrew my investment last week, i am still trying to convince my friend that has a whole lot invested!!
Happy that the platform has helped at least one person. A piece of advice, keep the funds that you have withdrawn separate or "ring-fenced" from your other cash. This is just in case the authorities come knocking on your door to return some or all of the funds. At least if you do this, you can show that you took reasonable steps as suggested by the FSCA and that you are not looking to profit from other people's losses, but that you are happy to cooperate with the relevant authorities. And good luck with your friend... some people have to learn the hard way (which is sad).

I thought they'd stopped trading forex as of Tuesday when the FCSA announcement came out, at least that's what they claimed in their update to members on Tuesday. Did someone forget to turn off the generated trade reports? Seems one of two things must be true: Either they lied about suspending forex trading, or this report doesn't reflect real trades (and by implication it's unlikely any of the other reports were or real trades). I see no alternative logical conclusion. They either lied, or they lied. Pick one.

Summary of the "profits" from the forex trading they are no longer doing.

Ok, let me ask you this. What are the laws regarding fraud in the realm of crypto? Are the laws as cut-and-dry or widely understood as they are in the regular financial world?

Pretty clear cut. If something is shown concretely to have value then it will have value and courts will rule in favor of said value.

You will be able to sue someone who hacked your World of Warcraft account and stole a rare item for instance because the item is provably linked to a real world financial gain or loss.

That is on the extreme end of the scale but it gives you an idea.

I was in for less than a month, so i only took back my initial capital..

You may very well be right. Again, I really don't know. And as long as I don't know, I simply cannot make any concessions as to blame the FSCA for not acting as quickly as I would've liked for them to have. That would require a burden of proof on my side and I'd be unable to provide that proof.

Ah a bot that generates trade reports - so there could be a bot after all - who's main purpose is to generate these reports...

business as usual just look at these - better than usual

What I find really sad and rather confusing about people who still opt to"invest" with MTI is what they deem to be reasonable.

On the one hand, we have various regulators trying to warn the public that MTI (and other related schemes) are not what they claim to be and people will lose their money. We have people like ourselves doing the digging to trace wallet addresses, finding out how various MTI leaders have been involved in different but similar scams, and contacting various authorities to do some fact-checking.

On the other side, we have those MTI leaders, who have been shown to have operated numerous other scams, and these very same people are flouting about a conspiracy that "big government" just want to stop people from making money, and if MTI were to provide "proof" of their trading, then other people will steal their idea blah blah blah.

The thing that troubles me is how ANYONE could think that the latter is more reasonable. How incredibly paranoid and delusional must someone be for them to get to a point where they think it's more plausible that various global authorities are somehow working together to undermine MTI and its members, as opposed to known fraudsters pulling their old tricks yet again?

Most people are only watching the video's of the leaders, and seeing Facebook posts of people in their team.

They are not seeing anything in the newspaper or on TV.

So most people will try to make a quick buck, and while they are not seeing enough red flags (because they aren't looking) they think the risk is still acceptable.

And some people that think the risk is too great might still want to make the quick buck and think they can "get out" before the scam collapses.

I just had this feeling last night that maybe someone may have forgotten to turn of the bot that generates these trade reports (no sane person would generate these by hand every day), and then this morning my premonition was confirmed. No doubt the official statement will be, whoops, we meant to turn off the bot but someone hit the wrong switch, so sorry, but look, we made 1.1% profit, so aren't you glad we stuffed that up?

Yeah, the people who genuinely are unaware are the people I have complete sympathy for.

Instead, what I was referring to are more the ones in the latter part of your post. The ones who have been given the information, and somehow still lack the reasoning ability to make the correct (or at least rational) judgement call....those are the ones that really trouble me.
This doesn't directly apply to SA....but surely no society can have a proper functioning justice system (i.e trial by jury, etc) if the "common man" doesn't posses the required reasoning ability to make rational judgement calls.

Anyways, I'm going off on a tangent here, lol.

Here's the thing: It was mentioned a thousand comments ago but struck hard with me - These are the franchise owners, the religious - anyone who is used to grasping the intangible and applying faith.

Add covid desperation and the fact that one gets to truly believe you are part of an exceptional "sect" (because you believe in magic money). They WANT it to be true sooo badly that they will miss the blatantly obvious warnings.
