In this age of mass-produced clones, it is extremely refreshing to see the occasional gem of a game that breaks the mould and doesn’t conform to one of the dominant clichés. Such is Mirror’s Edge, which, though quite difficult, may well appeal to a broader audience than your typical first-person shooter.

Great game, but quite difficult. What's great though is that each level is broken into much smaller segements so while you may fall to your doom often, you won't be sent back too far.

Fighting skills, aside from the basic punching and kicking, are also not so easy to learn, but they aren't required too often.

Most of the game's fun comes from finding your way around as well as staving off the constant threat of vertigo.

Anybody else having where the Ambient sounds drowns everything else out? My speach is so soft that can't hear anything without the sound being too loud for comfort playing.
