My name is Roy and I have been using Rain Mobile since last year August.
I only had great news about how happy I was about my sim card that I have with rain.
I have joined the network because its affordable and offers better benefits data wise than the other ISP's
The reason I am complaining is the following two reasons.
1. Since the 1st of January I have relocated to Monta Vista an are that has "coverage". While staying in Goodwood I had a 4G+ connection, I complained to Rain about the technical issues regarding my connection in Monta Vista that I have no reception at all ,sometimes every hour emergency calls only appears on my S9 device.
I was told to reboot and retype in my APN settings although why that was needed does not make any logical sence, sim cards automatically redirects to the closest tower or connection. I done it anyway still 3 weeks later the same old story.
I complained numerous times on most platforms this is 5 times in a row and one "human response" the rest all copy and paste " Dear customer thanks again for contacting rain support.
We have escalated your enquiry to our Tier 2 support team and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

That's all I recieved every time I complain.
According to Rains website there is connection however I strongly suggest MyBroadband investigate what the issue is as the whole area has no coverage. At my expense I have driven around with my phone in the area to see where the best connection is to my disappointment there is none in my area.
This is a great deal of inconvenience to me as I do research on the phone using Rain ,it just makes business sence however I can't continue to believe the support teams words that they working on this issue.
I would like to know why I get a 4G connection in Simon's Town when that area is not covered , I even had the best connection in Mosselbay.
Rain I suggest you fix the issue or remove your so called "coverage zone " on the Monta vista area.
2. I am not sure if its RAM or Rain but I ordered a sim card from you and Ram delivered to my previous place in Goodwood, my friends dad was visiting and he was able to sign for it of cause I gave him my ID.
This time around we ordered a phone and sim card from Rain this time , my friend got told he is unble to sign on my behalf.
Either let third parties sign or not.
I ask that my request gets attended to.
