So my folks bought a new hyundai i10 at end Oct 2022 but they were overseas for a but and forgot to do the free service after 1 year it comes with. Now hyundai says they must pay R2600 for the service ( they haven't booked in as yet) any advice?

What does the contract say

They normally allow 3 months or 2000kms grace depending but you are over either way.

If the service plan is void, see if you can't get it reversed. Pointless paying for something you can never use and as its the first service, they have incurred no cost.
