Missing airtime!

I can understand that v3g isnt here to do their job but the problem is, to say the least, that the 155 and 111 people are somewhat clueless. I did call them ( regarding my missing airtime ) once... waited about 10min then hung up. Second time i got through and explained my saga and they said that my bundle was used up and therefor proceeded to deduct from my balance ( which makes me thing that they think im a n00b )

I find in many instances that the person on the other end is just throwing any old story our way to push to the next call.

Try emailing, I find it works much better than calling and then you've got a written record of what you've said before so you don't have to repeat yourself etc.

There are a few ways to deal with problems, my general advice is:
  1. If you need something done with as little latency as possible, then call the appropriate call centre number and speak to a call centre agent.
  2. However, for problems, I recommend emailing [email protected] and attach visual evidence - e.g. screenshots, this creates an email trail with a Vodacom reference number, which if necessary you can forward to v3g later on if you feel you have not received a satisfactory reply from [email protected].
That's my personal advice - based on my own experiences with Vodacom's call centres, the email option allows you to re-open an issue until you get an appropriate solution to the associated problem you emailed about in the first place. I don't really recommend emailing general questions as that's usually when those dealing with repetitive questions via email, will start to reply with [sometimes automated] scripted replies.
