Missing Midrand student found dead

After that 7yo girl being butchered in her own back yard, I doubt nothing in the news will surprise me for a very long time. That raised the bar of savagery in this country which I doubt can be beaten anytime soon.
Absolutely, that was a new low!

In an area with a high concentration of young students and student accommodation you would hope some effort would be made to look after their safety, sadly this is not the case. A bit surprising that Midrand varsity college don't make more effort with regards to student safety considering that they have tripled in size in the last couple of years.
A student mentioned the lack of public transport in that area, meaning students might find themselves walking long distances and criminals take advantage of that.

Yup, close the illegal dodgy businesses around the campus, check and vet the variou places offering student accommodation and ffs get a Gautrain bus route to pass the campus.

Serious? I can't believe those things are still not a reality.

MU was a place for kids with money to go when they didn't get into the big universities. Making it a prime target for abduction.

:( I remember a few years ago this was a regular thing ( kidnapping for rather small random amounts ) has this become less or are we just not hearing about it in the media?

It has become such a common occurrence that it is not deemed news worthy anymore.

So many of these students missing/killed! What the hell is going on?
Poor Policing and fearless criminals.

This planet needs a violent purge of the scum and filth that make this planet a ****ty place.
Four years later and nothing has changed.
