It is a strangely South African thing -- people just throw up their hands -- HELP me HELP me.

Not realising that they have a working brain and should be helping themselves.

I couldn't find Vsat pricing via google at all or anything that would lead me to it until I clicked your links. After that my search results is a lot more relevant now. Just the way google works, the results is influenced by the websites you visit.

For instance this is what I get now when I search for vsat after clicking the SpaceStream link.

Previously I couldn't find the pricing on the telkom site because I didn't know they called it spacestream. Just didn't show in google.

All I got earlier was random links to forums of users discussing VSAT on mybb
and one linking to @lantic. Sites I visited a lot during the week.


I'm no expert in networking, so yes I can't help myself because I just don't have the knowledge and experience. Also I'm getting told way to many things I find out to be false by people or just inaccurate like the DSLAM thing.

If there were some place to find out exactly what equipment telkom uses and how their system works exactly then I could educate myself.
