From the moment Mitt Romney stepped off stage Tuesday night, having just delivered a brief concession speech he wrote only that evening, the massive infrastructure surrounding his campaign quickly began to disassemble itself.

Aides taking cabs home late that night got rude awakenings when they found the credit cards linked to the campaign no longer worked.

I'm one of the campaign workers whose card was cancelled. I was at Rachel's gentlemen's club in Orlando, and already had run up about $2,800 in charges, with the full consent and encouragement of my superiors. I was entertaining several public officials from Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Volusia Counties, and most of the charges were for champagne and private entertainment. It was a huge embarrassment when the cards were cancelled, and I ended up paying for all the charges myself. By the time the evening was over, I spent about $3,500. If we had won, it would have been well worth it, but it sucks that Romney was such a tightwad that he wouldn't let the campaign cover these election night costs.

So couldn't spend money, that wasn't theirs, on a campaign which was done and dusted ?

Shame, if you cant understand why people are upset, perhaps you should have been one of the Romney aids that got their cards cut on election night, and after working late for Romney....when you try catch a cab home.... you are denied.

However, if you dont give a **** about the people that are working for you, then I guess you would approve of the Romney method.

um yeah, i got that. I just take issue with the astonishing language liberals use to reinforce their little fantasies while saying conservatives live on BS mountain. It's rather amusing.

Both sides need to get of their high horses and gravitate towards civil debate.

Yeah, totally amusing. Love how you pretend to speak for moderation while lambasting liberals. Typical.

Ive noticed this new trend from the right. Crying about how bad both sides are, then having a go at the left. Yeah, you guys are the models of moderation everyone should follow :rolleyes:

Indeed. It is astonishing that people do not realize that pablum such as this just won't get one to civil debate. It is almost like people are not interested in civil debate.
