The USSR is a terrible example to use. This type of thing happens naturally, when its forced (like it was with the USSR), it is going to fail (well a lot of the time, this is a generalization not a rule). The EU will out last you and I. Its not going anywhere. You should read up on the early days of the American government. They had 100000000000x worse and they still managed to pull it together. One thing I have picked up is markets and media are hysterical. Both over react and hyperventilate if a grasshopper farts somewhere.

If you dont allow yourself to be pulled into the whimsical short term hysterics of the market media you can see the bigger picture more clearly.

I predict, in the next 15 years, Russia will become a member of the EU.

Sorry...only jumping in on this now.
Medical grass is the least of these two's problems.
Ron Paul's "newsletters" have come out to haunt him. Romney is too insubstantial to take a stance on anything.
He used to run as a liberal for goodness sake. His fellow running mates and most of US republicans don't trust him because of his religious beliefs and the fact that he is incapable of understanding the economic situation from the common man's perspectives he is starting to look rather silly.
His financial history (Capital Bain) has come back to haunt him and his current financial status is further removing him from the average American and their plight. Making $10 000 bets and downplaying his speaker fees $41 000+ per hour is just the tip of the iceberg.

We are not even talking about the more interesting facets of the republican concepts like the personhood bill, same sex mariages, dont ask dont tell, medicaid and medicare etc etc etc.

I didn't post this with the intention of illustrating a major issue with anyone's position, just wanted to show the absolute callousness of Romney. I'm certain he is a lizard person.

and yet the callous, elitist, corporate stooge lizard person still couldn't raise as much money as hero of the working man Obama. :erm:
 
Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate thus far to denounce SOPA (The internet censor bill)
