Lol!! Now thats an accomplishment, not sure how that golf manages to stay in one piece, surely that power will rip the chassis apart!!!!
 
He's probably wearing a Polo shirt too.
 
... I can see what this will lead to. The Beeld will be flooded by letters of people from Brakpan claiming that their Opel/VW/Ford is way faster. :sick:
 
This is no achievement. Strap a rocket to a go-kart and you'll get similar results. Like the owner of the golf says. Over 100mph he can't even steer anymore otherwise he'll lose control.

With a Bugatti this is the stage where things get exciting.

IMO there is no comparison.
 
I'm sure we all agree that the styling of the Golf is far superior though don't we?
 
I bet all those mods didn't come out of the 50 pounds mentioned in the headline.
 
he says in his video 0-100 is 2.6 seconds... bugatti is 2.5 ? am i missing something ?

and ya it is kinda like putting a rocket on a go kart.. try take a corner at 150 and see what happens? not really a comparison ... they could take all the good stuff out the Bugatti.. like ABS, and EBD and all those things that aren't really important :P and loose about 400 kilo's and then do 0-100 in like 2.1
 
He claims 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds and 400m in 10.2 seconds which is quicker than the Veyron but the Veyron weighs a hefty 1.8 tons. Probably double his Golf. Over a 1km sprint a Veyron would r@pe his little VW but hell that is still one insane MK1! Top speed 281km/h is pretty impressive.

It say over 150mph it can only go straight... thats 240kmph.
It also say its faster in a 1/4mile

Veyron can corner at insane speeds and have unbeatable brakes.
The guy's slogan should read: "A car is only used for 0-60mph sprints, not cornering, style, breaking, safety, road handling or reliability..."

Am I the only one here who remembers that the Bugatti is a VW as well?
 
I could do better for less money. Just build up a nice Ultima GTR 720. You'll still have decent handling and excellent brakes at high speeds.
 
Is it just me or does the dude have a weird twitching problem. Check the video and watch his arms and hands...

Me doubts he'd be able to even steer a Veyron with that tick.
 
Faster than a Veyron?..

BS.. yes it may be quicker to 100, and may do the 1/4 mile quicker, but the Veyron has a higher topspeed, weighs probably twice as much, and can still "handle" at those speeds.

JK8 when will you get over your obsession with shyttigolfs?.. they're decent enough for a track car but they're NOT special in anyway shape or form.
