Hi Ya all.
Dont know if this is right place to complain.

Over the last month or so if been getting increased problems sending mms' from vodacom to mtn. sometimes get gprs failures or http failures on my d500. othertimes it works fine. weekends at night is impossible and I spend a bunch of sms' to check if people got the mms' because the mms delivery receipts dont work across networks, and yes both d500's have receipts enabled.

Went to vodashop and they said it mtn's fault. So to stop all the blameshifting I'm posting here. there must be an interconect department at vodacom and mtn.

I'm consedering buying a mtn sim card just to be able to mms to mtn.

PLEASE

Any Vodacom rep here that can esculate the problem? I'm in Kimberley and the MTN Receiptient is in Mosselbay.

This is driving me absolutely crazy especialy when I get CORRUPT mms msg at between 12:00 and 1:00 in the morning ours from "MAIL DELIVERY SUBSYSTEM<MAILER-DAEMON>" with "RETURNED MAIL :SEE" as subject or the otherone is subject "Warning could not s..." If I open the message it says incomplete message and gives me the option to delete it.

All this at MIDNIGHT.

Please help!!!!

PS. Sometime get GPRS problems conecting to WAP also but sametime MMS works then???

Update??

Hi v3g

Did you guys find out anything yet?

This weekend everything SEEMS to have worked okay but this morning I’m having problems with MMS delivery BOTH ways.
This is extremely frustrating since we essentially get billed 3 times for 1 mms (that’s how many times on average we have to resend). That would be pushing the limits of illegal in my opinion to bill like that. And before I forget add 3 SMS’ to that count from my side to check if my MMS’ arrived and 3 SMS’ from the other persons side to say “no”. The more I think of it the more I’m certain that its illegal to deliberately not do anything about a faulty service just to inflate usage…

Please give the appropriate people grief?

Thanx for everything you do for the MyADSL community.
