I sent my first mms in a long time today.

I'm not sure on how it works but the mms i sent took money from my account and still used some of my data bundles as well.

That is ripping me off twice?

MMS is not free and it connects to the Internet to transfer the content. For this reason it use both airtime and data

This is not how it is supposed to work. MMS works on a similar billing model as SMS.

For Example.

SMS - 80 cents per 160 characters
MMS - 80 cents per 300KB (data should not be charged for seperately...whether it be OOB or from your data bundle)

Yup, the data should not be charged for as it uses a different APN to normal data.
