Mnet DTT goes live today

Never knew this but it seems, from this that either DStv decoders are DTT capable or someone needs to use plain and simple English on their website.
 
Apparently from Naspers building in Cape Town CBD

@ brixton tower - No - not capable - if you have a DSTV STB and send out picture via the co-axial aerial cable to your TV set & you have setup the DSTV STB to work on channel 50 on your TV - then you could pickup interference from the new transmitter that was switched on for DTT that also uses channel 50. i.e. the powerful transmitter will cause interference on your co-axial cable going into your TV set.

Thanks for clearing that up, just that it was so badly written on their website that one would think the normal decoder can pick up DTT signal. Anyway, I think the signals would probably be scrambled, and the switch-on was most probably for their beta testers out in Cape Town.
