I get 13 services on 586MHz and 13 on 596MHz cant see them being to close tho.

I dont get and picture or sound at all just the NIT??

If one buys a new LCD HD ready TV, will that be abl;e to 'handle' the new signal? or will u still need 'another box'?
 
soz for the stupid question but what exactly will be the highlights of the move to Digital for us the consumers? Will we get better quality signal?

Spectrum gets freed to be used for other things...

How does this affect dstv subscribers? I mean if you dont use the normal tv aerial at all..
I'm assuming it has no affect, since the satellite signal is already digital

DSTV is using DVB-S with MPEG2, I've heard that the terrestrial variation would be using DVB-T with MPEG-4

What encryption: NagraVision 1 like Sentech Vivid Bouquet or Irdeto 2 on the DSTV Bouquet?
 
Installation should start from the 11 May 2009. I just spoke to Mnet.
