MNET (only) on DSTV Decoder

No thats DSTV select, Compact has 30 or so channels but all are still junk. My Girlfriend has it at her house and the only thing remotely good is Mnet series and the only movie channels are Action X and Hallmark.
 
my daughter took the decoder to the multichoice centre yesterday and they checked the machine and it was fine and they then gave her some cables and a brand new remote for the decoder she said she had fantastic service by them yesterday.

so is the Compact thing a DSTV package? if i only have mnet does that mean i am stuck with it unless i get a dish and subscribe to DSTV?

Yep that is corect Compact is a dstv package. To get it you will need. A dish, and a dstv decoder and the subscription at R200
