So that's what RPM looks like. Good story and I hope that this story made an impact on all those ignorant and naive people out there who think Telkom is God's gift to SA telecoms. Now to get that Hellkom t-shirt....
RPM spoke well. His point about a website designed for South Africans hosted internationally because of the high price of local hosting (R7000.00 odd for one month)really drove home the impact of Telkom on the SA Market.
Its so absurd. when an ADSL subscriber is capped he can't even browse overseas sites. Telkom should go down in history as the most useless Telecommunication Company in the world. I'm sure if I had to order a phone line in the Sahara Desert, I would have better service.

Actually, just as a funny off topic point, if you had to order a phone line in the Sahara, you would have to get INMARSAT, which, for Africa, is routed via Telkom. []

### What we need in South Africa is cheap 24/7, always on Internet for under R300 a month. ###
When can we expect to see a DivX clip of the insert hosted here on MyADSL??

I have just sent off an email to Carte Blanche thanking them for the insert and giving them some feedback from the forum. I think they might find this feedback valuable…
Yes i agree thanks to mnet... ive sent 2 emails to carte blanche pleeding with them to investigate telkom and especially asked them to to visit hellkom. was so happy when it aired sun 1 aug []
I think more than anything is it wasnt a let down, they pretty much proved Telkoms "Piss off" attitude with that person they were speaking to on their behalf. They couldnt give two hoots about the country or people in it. They are all drones, reminds me of a well known hackers account of working at Ernest and Young.
