I hope I'm not doing a thread that's been done already, I didn't see a recent one around. I only very recently (for 4 months now) entered the mobile market so I'm always on the lookout for new things.

Which games would you recommend for mobile gaming? From tiny 5 minute time killers to things you can really sink your teeth into. Also please state if the game is free or paid; maybe a Play/App store link too if you feel like it!

Personally, I do a bit of mobile gaming on a cheap Proline tablet. I am looking for things that I can really sink time into and also things that I can run on a Vodafone Smart Kicka (not very high specs, it's a R500 phone). The most recent game I tried was AdVenture Capitalist. It was quite fun. Naturally repetitive as it is an incremental game, but it tided me over for a month or so. On my phone I only have 2048 so far and I'm looking for other small games I can kill time at college with.

Other favorites of mine:
Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition - Cute RPG where you control a team of tabletop RPG players and the Dungeon Master. You get to control your enemy encounters to be as difficult or easy as you want. It does have its challenges though!
Temple Run 2 - I know, I'm a plebeian.
Traffic Racer - It's a fun time killer, but I got bored of it fairly quickly.
Plague Inc. - Premium version is R12,50 and you can unlock everything by playing. Very much worth it!

I'm looking to try Clash of Clans soon when I get data, I see the data costs aren't high so long as you don't play 24/7 and updates are scheduled so you don't get screwed with data costs (I watch my data more than a supermodel watches how many paper thin crackers she eats). What is there for single player that can really get one involved, and what is there for a cheap phone to play to pass the time?

Look no further for a time sink.

Baldurs Gate is about as deep a RPG as you will ever get, it's one of the big classic of pc gaming.
Each of the 3 games is R112.

Wow, I never knew these were ported! Will definitely save up a bit for them when I can.

As a side note, from seeing that last link, it's interesting to see how many top RPG settings have come from DnD. The Elder Scrolls started as one after all.

EDIT: @ SYNERGY: Turns out I put that one on my wishlist haha
