Mobile internet trumps fixed-line

Agree, 'fixed line' is not the problem, in this case its the company behind those fixed lines. There is nothing wrong with the technology if planned, implemented and updated properly; and that is where the problem lies.

Yep... We would most certainly not be having these discussions if we were at Google Fiber's 1Gbps level. :(
IMO, a hard-line beats a mobile connection every time, problem is, here that means Telkom and that's a ship I don't think anyone can turn around anymore.
 
Sorry but completely disagree with this, fixed line is by far the better choice for me - 4mb uncapped beats mobile pricing any day of the week.

I agree. No way I can get close to what I get with my MWEB uncapped on mobile.
