Hi there,
As the title reads, i'm looking for a Mobile messenger without "Online Status", i have checked and Telegram and Viber shows when i am online. Whatsapp would have been the best, but there is no way of turning this off.
BBM seems to be perfect, besides for the fact that i can only send short voicenotes.

Any other recommendations?

You can in Whatsapp

Settings -> Account -> Privacy:
You can turn off
* Last Seen
* Profile Photo
* Status
* Read Receipt

You can't turn off online status though. When you're online, it shows as online.

You're going to find some obscure messaging app that no-one else uses anyway so...just send sms's?

Use Wickr, very good for privacy. messages and photos delete automatically, no last seen or online status and you can even remove your number completely and only have a username. On Iphone you can set the app to require your fingerprint before opening. They also have a $500 000 bounty program for bugs or security issues.

Hey man you can go Settings -> Account -> Privacy: Click on Status and press Nobody. Then no one would be able to see you status

Who are you hiding from? :p

Nobody,
Just tired of people always getting mad at me for being online and not replying instantly, Or being online and not reading their messages, I have come very close to deleting whatsapp all together, it causes more problems that anything else.
BBM would have been perfect, But i do use the "Voice note" function quite often, The BBM version can only record 1minute, (or 2 minutes, I cant remember), and it does not warn you when it stops recording or when your time is up, you can continue talking 10 minutes, but the person at the other side will only hear 1 minute of the conversation.

What's the purpose? You find a less popular IM and tell friends and family to install it just so they don't have to see when you're online?

Yip. This is really not as big of an hassle as one would think, Everyone has WIFI. Otherwise they can SMS me.
