Mobile Web surges 93%

It saves my bandwidth consumption. I just browse internet for the text / news / etc...

Everytime I try other browsers the main settings I'm looking for is how to save my bandwidth and I end up using Opera Mini again.

PS: using HTC WinMo...

I hate the way cellphone manufacturers always seem to think its a great idea to waste one of your phone's buttons with a shortcut to their rather useless bundled browser! Or worse yet, a link to vodafone live! which opens their crappy bundled browser! I want my opera mini instead please!

It's code named "fennec" if I'm not mistaken. So far its only seen the light of day as a rather shody alpha that didn't even run on most devices. Opera mini is going to be king for a while.

Agreed with that! I got a Voda-branded LG KS360, and hate that branding. It includes the moerkat!

Bleh...

I've used Opera Mini before with my Nokia 6600, and now with my LG KS360, and it works very well, cut down on bandwidth costs. It is nice to check up quickly on something when not at the office, but for a serious browser it is not recommended as mobile devices' screens are too small to work comfortably.

Hope Android comes out quickly... I want to get rid of that  moerkat!
