Does anyone here use it? What are the advantages of using this over using google contacts, calendar and gmail?

it has idisk (which is useless locally)
it syncs contacts via push with ur phone,
its not nearly as buggy as it used to be, but still not great.
It has the back to my mac feature which is kinda cool but can be overcome with a little bit of know how...

Honestly I would forget about it...

Not worth it with the cost of bandwidth (currently) in SA.

If you HAVE to sync between iPhone and ur Mac use Evernote.
Between 2 Mac use Chronosync.

wow, I would totally disagree. Push contacts, cal and email (email arrives on my iphone before it even hits mail) is freakin awesome. Syncing of preferences (keychain etc) as saved my ass a few times. I almost never sync my phone with my mac, and mobileme keeps things perfectly up to date. (I have to agree with tau1z, mobileme was ****e when it was first released, but most of these issues have been ironed out)

will def renew my sub when it expires in sep.

Yeah same. I love it and will always be a subscriber. Adding a contact on my iPhone and having it automagically pushed to my Macbook Pro contacts rocks.

I use the iDisk, Photo Galleries to share and allow uploads of photos between my family overseas, push Calendar, again from my iPhone, push Email. All rock.

I can get contacts and calendar pushed to my iphone by google as well. For $99 pa, I thought it would be more than just that (and some online diskspace).

Apple's white elephant.
