Mobilink Updated Software

Hi Guys How do I know that I have the most updated version of the mobilink software?, Is it updated or are you stuck with the cd provided. Is there a site except from Novatel where the update may be avilable, as Novatel just refer you back to your service provider.

Good day,

MTN are in the process of making all updates available on the mtn.co.za website but it will only be done next year some time so other than the Novatel site there are no sites available for updates

Any news on when the MTN drivers will be available ???:(

Sorry, let me re-phrase that... Is their any updated software for Novatel and Mobilink... I got the bundle in Oct 2005 and coudnt find any updates since then.

The reason for the question is that the speed its irritating. It never seems to connect at 3G speeds, even in an aria that has 3G coverage. The PCMCIA modem has got an MTN 3G card in it, but still only connects at GPRS speeds. If I connect my cell via BT the speed is much much better.

Is this something im doing wrong, or is it a hardware or software issue?

I'll get this to my device manager one problem on getting you those updates are that his gone on leave for the next two weeks so I'll have to get it for u as soon as he gets back but will see if I can arrange them in the meantime will let you know.

Please can someone direct or tell me where i can get mobilink please or if someone could post it for download i would be very greatful thanks.
 
Sorry, everyone from MTN is on leave for an indefinite period.
 
Is this the same Mobilink software you recommended for the MC950D on another forum? If so could you kindly PM me a link to it.
