Modem can't install

I tried many times to install a Vodafone modem k3770, I get the following error ''this installation package could not be opened.verify the package exists and that you can access it,or contact the application vendor to verify that it is a valid windows installer package''

The modem works fine on my other PC, I tried to install a different modem om the same laptop and still got the same error

What operating system and is it 64 bit ??

64 bit......solved, i just created a new user and it installed perfectly
