Anyone, see this from my post from "Tower 12 (Mintek)" - sorry guys at support - seems I may have caused the problem myself.
"OK...some light on the subjct - and very interesting. Right in the beginning when I installed the USB software, I modified the Registry and config file to only show the 2.5 GHZ frequency. Once I changed this back, voila, the bloody interference from Tower 82 was back where previously I could basically move around without much interference from any other tower. THAT WAS AFTER THE UPGRADE OF THE FIRMWARE to 4.2.1.8 - so the firmware seems to definitely read from the registry - not totally ignoring the other freqs but searching longer for the ones that are listed in the registry.
That is my gut feeling - ProAsm and Rodent, any comments?"
